How to readjust the height locking button in a Mini or Maxi Micro Scooter
Is your height locking push button stuck inside the T Bar tube preschool scooter or kids scooter? Follow these steps to get the button out and back into its correct position
You will need: A cross tip screwdriver and a 5mm Allen key, a set of pliers
Instructions
1. Firstly, we need to remove the clamp. Open the clamp lever and with a cross tip screwdriver, remove the small screw at the back of the clamp
2. Using a 5mm Allen key, loosen the bolt that runs through the clamp. You don't want to take it all the way out, just loosen it
3. Push the clamp up using your thumb until it slots out of position. Then lift the T Bar section up and out, as well as the clamp. Looking up the tube, you should be able to see the position of the locking button
4. Using either a set of pliers, screwdriver or Allen key, move the button so that it pops back out of the hole
5. To reassemble, thread the clamp back through the T Bar, pushing in the locking button so that it sits above that
6. Put the T Bar back into the tube while pushing the locking button until it locks into place. The height locking push button should click out through the hole
7. Push the clamp back down into place. Reinsert the small black screw into the back of the clamp and tighten it all the way up, then retighten the bolt running through the clamp. Close the lever once done
