The Mini Micro Deluxe Eco is the first of its kind, innovatively designed to be made from up to 50% recycled maritime waste plastic. We take waste from the maritime industry, clean it, crush it, dry it, melt it and pour it to make the Mini Micro Deluxe Eco decks and brakes.
Nothing else changes, we've kept Mini Micro Deluxe that preschoolers know and love including the lean to steer system, adjustable T-bar to grow with them. Only now it's an even more eco-friendly kids toy.
Quality and longevity have always been at the core of each of our scooters and the Eco is no different. With a full range of spare parts we ensure that they're built to be upcycled and passed down through generations.
By reusing this plastic that used to venture the seas to create an everyday adventure for preschoolers, we hope we can help do our part to protect the environment now and for their future.
Our global Micro HQ is donating 1% of the annual worldwide sales from the Micro Eco range to '1% for the Planet', who support important work/charities that benefit our environment. 1% for the Planet is a global organization that exists to ensure our planet and future generations thrive.

Questions and Answers
Q: What is an Eco Scooter?
Our Mini Micro Deluxe Eco Scooter, is green by design. We have incorporated recycled maritime plastics into the deck and the brake of the scooter. In an effort to make our scooters an increasingly eco-friendly product. It's a roll in the right direction to a further sustainable world. Join the movement today anyway!
Q: Which scooter models are available as the ECO version?
The Mini Micro Deluxe Eco is our first step and now we have the Maxi Micro Deluxe Eco LED scooter. Fundamental to Micro is the longevity that we build into our scooters; with premium materials and full range of spare parts, Micro scooters are designed to never end up in landfill. So using, recycled plastic is the natural next step. We want to do our part to reduce the world's plastic pollution crisis and reuse what we can. Making a positive contribution to the cleaning up and a commitment to continuing to protect our planet.
Q: What is the recycled plastic made from?
We take waste from the maritime industry, clean it, crush it, dry it, melt it and pour it to make our decks and brakes greener. Specifically, the waste that is discarded and obsolete such as ropes, trawls that have been used all over the world. This is the first exciting step in developing a more sustainable scooter. We recognise the potential of recycled plastics instead of producing new ones.
Q: Why is only a part of the scooter made from recycled material and not the whole scooter?
This is just the start. Currently, we have found a solution to making the Mini Micro Deluxe Eco deck and brake out of recycled maritime waste whilst preserving the premium quality of our scooters. The materials used for other parts of the scooter have a different composition, which cannot be replaced with the recycled material yet. Our commitment to constant innovation means it's only onwards and upwards from here!
Q: Does the Mini Micro Deluxe ECO differ in quality due to use of the recycled plastic?
No, our recycled plastic used for the deck and brake of the Mini Micro Deluxe ECO is as durable as our regular plastic. It has the same strength properties and meets the same safety standards.
Q: What about the packaging? Is it also sustainable?
With our ECO products we have taken special care to ensure the packaging is as environmentally friendly as possible, we use FSC-certified paper for the packaging and have reduced the amount of plastic inside the box to a minimum. The scooter is not in a plastic bag, only the handlebars are wrapped in brown paper to protect them from damage. The user manual is also FSC certified and is packed in a plastic bag made of biodegradable material.
