The promotion

Sign up to the Micro Scooters Australia mailing list and place an order during a monthly promotion period for your chance to win back the value of your order. Two (2) winners each month will have their qualifying order refunded, up to a maximum of AUD $500 per winner.

Promoter

This competition is run by Micro Scooters Ltd, ABN 68 207 362 652, trading as Micro Scooters Australia, of PO Box 124, Berowra Heights, NSW 2081; phone 03 9005 7515; email info@microscooters.com.au (“Micro”, “we”, “us”).

Promotion period

This competition runs as a series of separate monthly promotions, each with its own promotion period, draw and prize pool. Entries relate only to the monthly promotion in which they are received and do not carry over to any later promotion.

  • The first monthly promotion opens at 12:00am AEST on Wednesday 8 July 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on 31 July 2026.

  • Each following monthly promotion opens at 12:00am AEST on the first day of the calendar month and closes at 11:59pm AEST on the last day of that same month (for example, 1 to 31 August 2026).

  • The competition continues on this monthly basis until Micro ends it by removing the entry form from the website, in which case the monthly promotion then running concludes at 11:59pm AEST on the last day of that month.

Who can enter

Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and over. Employees of Micro Scooters Ltd and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Entrants under 18 may not enter; a parent or guardian aged 18 or over may enter on a household’s behalf.

How to enter

To enter, during a monthly promotion period you must both:

  1. Subscribe to the Micro Scooters Australia mailing list using a valid email address; and

  2. Place and pay for an order via microscooters.com.au.

Each qualifying order equals one entry. There is no limit on the number of qualifying orders a person may place, but each entry must relate to a separate order. Purchase is required to enter, and no purchase-free entry method is offered.

The prize

Two (2) prizes are available in each monthly promotion. Each prize is a refund of the winner’s qualifying order value, up to a maximum of AUD $500 (including GST) per winner. The refund is paid to the original payment method used for the order. If a winner’s order value exceeds AUD $500, the refund is capped at AUD $500. The prize is not transferable, not exchangeable, and not redeemable for cash beyond the refund of the order value. Total prize pool per monthly promotion: up to AUD $1,000.
A person may win no more than one prize in any single monthly promotion.

The draw

For each monthly promotion, one draw is conducted electronically by random selection by Micro Scooters Ltd within 14 days after that promotion closes. The draw is made at random from all valid entries received during that monthly promotion. Each monthly promotion is separate and independent, and an entrant's chance of winning in any monthly promotion depends on the number of eligible entries received in that promotion.

Notification and announcement

Winners will be notified by email within 7 days of the draw. Winners’ first names and state of residence may be published on Micro Scooters Australia’s social media channels and website. If a winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within 14 days of first notification, or is found to be ineligible, we reserve the right to conduct a redraw within a reasonable period after the original draw.

Privacy

Personal information collected for this competition is collected, used and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By entering, you consent to your information being used to administer the competition. Where you have opted in, we will also use your email address to send you marketing communications; you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

General

This competition is a game of chance; skill plays no part in determining the winners. Micro reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, breaches these terms, or engages in conduct that is fraudulent or damaging to the fair conduct of the competition. We reserve the right to amend, suspend or cancel the competition where necessary, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. This competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook or Meta. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and each entrant submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia, and each entrant submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State. Nothing in these terms limits any rights an entrant has under the Australian Consumer Law, which applies throughout Australia. To the extent of any inconsistency, these competition terms prevail over our general Terms of Service in respect of this competition.
